Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality images. You will support radiologists, review orders, and ensure ALARA compliance.

The role requires ARRT certification and completion of a AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, with NH or MA licensure as required. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced hospital setting in Nashua, NH.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years Radiologic Technology training through an AMA-approved program or equivalent education meeting ARRT registry eligibility.
• ARRT certification required or obtained within one year of hire.
• Current NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure, MA Radiologic Technologist License, or both as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology examinations per department protocols.
• Review patient information and verify orders prior to examinations.
• Complete required documentation, consents, and patient questionnaires.
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy before radiologist interpretation.
• Assist radiologists during invasive fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
• Prepare and administer oral, IV, and rectal contrast agents per protocol.
• Operate portable radiographic equipment and transport equipment as required.
• Follow ALARA principles to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Utilize RIS, PACS, and other systems for imaging workflow and documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism.
• Support onboarding and education of new team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
