Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology exams, ensure image quality, and protect patient safety. You will review orders, complete documentation, and transport patients as needed in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires AMA-approved radiology training, ARRT certification within one year, and NH/MA licensure eligibility. Prior radiology experience is preferred; strong communication and patient care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program and eligible for ARRT(R) certification within one year of hire.
• Licensed by NH Board of Medical Imaging or MA as Radiologic Technologist (or both, depending on location).
• Able to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and operate imaging technology systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate, professional patient care.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Review patient information and reconcile physician requests with exams ordered.
• Complete essential documentation prior to exams.
• Perform Diagnostic Radiology exams including trauma and orthopedic.
• Inspect images for quality and documentation; present to Radiologist.
• Transport patients to and from care areas; assist supervisor with training.
