Parkridge Health Systems offers an Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Development Program. Radiologic Technologists progress to CT Tech through a 10-week online MTMI-certified curriculum while working and being paid 36 hours per week at HCA Healthcare facilities.

Selected participants may have tuition covered, complete hands-on training, and earn a certificate of completion. The program leads to a Full Time CT Tech position upon meeting requirements.

Qualifications

• Must remain in Radiologic Technologist role throughout the 10-week program.
• ARRT credential is required.
• Commit to 36 CT clinical hours per week during the 10-week program (PRN allowed but 36 hours weekly).
• Employer must place you in a Full Time CT Tech role upon completion of the program.
• Must be employed by HCA Healthcare and complete clinicals at an HCA facility.

We are looking for Radiologic Technologists (Rad Techs) to take the next step in their career through HCA Healthcare’s Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Program! This program is a 10-week intensive online certification program offered through Medical Technology Management Institute (MTMI) – a Division of HCA Healthcare’s The College of Healthcare Professions. A significant benefit of this program is participants work, and are paid for, 36 hours per week while receiving the necessary Computed Technologist (CT Tech) clinical hours at our HCA Healthcare facilities.

• For selected participants, HCA Healthcare covers program tuition, fees and books, subject to program requirements.
• The training includes hands‑on, preceptor‑led training in addition to one virtual evening class per week.
• The program offers colleagues in radiology technology new opportunities for career growth in the imaging space.
• Participants who successfully complete program requirements will receive a certificate of completion and be placed in a Full Time CT Tech position.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Be in a Radiologic Technologist role, or similar role, throughout the 10-week program. Participants already in a CT role are ineligible.
• Have a current America Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential.

• Complete 36 hours per week of CT clinical hours over a consecutive 10-week period. Please note participants in a PRN status may participate but must be able to commit to 36 hours per week during the program.

• Facility must be able to place employee in a Full Time position upon completion of the program.
• Must be employed by HCA Healthcare and complete clinicals at an HCA Healthcare participating facility.

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They also have access to (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
