St. Tammany Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist responsible for imaging patients undergoing surgical procedures.
You will work directly with the surgical team to manipulate radiographic equipment and position patients, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining radiation safety protocols. The role requires ARRT and LSRT licensure, 2 years of outpatient surgical facility experience, and current BLS certification.

Monday - Friday: 7:30a - 6:00p | Four 10-Hour Shifts
Responsible for the imaging of patients undergoing surgical procedures, working directly with the surgical team and/or physicians. This employee is responsible for the safe manipulation of radiographic equipment, positioning of patients, use of radiation protection devices, selection of technical factors necessary to produce optimum quality radiographs, the tracking of patient studies and PAS acquisition of the study performed. This employee may be asked to perform any other delegated tasks related to the proper function of the Diagnostic Radiology department.
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
