Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to obtain high-quality x-rays with proper positioning and radiation exposure. The role involves supporting physicians and nurses, documenting results, and adhering to OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities include triaging patients, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations. The position requires ARRT certification or RT program completion, 18+ years, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration or approved RT program completion is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods (4–6 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize exposure to radiation.
• Create and document x-ray CDs per Patient First guidelines.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient care and triage.
• Handle requests promptly and maintain x-ray paperwork.
• Maintain a clean work area and restock x-ray and treatment supplies.
