Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to perform radiologic procedures and provide high-quality patient imaging. You will report results to providers and support patient care through accurate documentation and coordination.

Required education includes a high school diploma and completion of an approved radiologic technologist program, with ARRT certification and state licensure where applicable. BLS may be required at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• ARRT registration/certification required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist is required where applicable by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide x-ray services under supervision of clinicians.
• Position patients correctly and protect during imaging.
• Prepare patients for examinations and collect medical history as needed.
• Perform point of care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG) as required.
• Maintain medical records and scan charts to patient files.
• Conduct courtesy follow-up calls for patient care.
• Keep QA/QC logs and calibrate equipment as per schedule.
