Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging and related administrative tasks. You will work with Medical Providers and Assistants to deliver high-quality patient care, while applying ionizing radiation safely and accurately across all age groups.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image production, recordkeeping, and QA/QC, all within a collaborative clinical setting. A strong emphasis on safety and customer care drives this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required where applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients under clinical provider supervision.
• Prepare patients, obtain medical history and vital signs as needed.
• Maintain medical records and documentation in electronic systems.
• Observe radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain QA/QC logs for radiology equipment.
• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Assistants to ensure efficient patient care.
