Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join MUSC’s Radiology team. The role involves performing high-quality radiographic examinations, adhering to protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $5,000, plus shift differentials up to $5.30/hr.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration required or eligible within 6 months of hire.
• SC Radiation Quality Standards licensure required.
• Current BLS required (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders.
• Ensures images are obtained accurately and efficiently for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast agents under physician supervision.
• Verifies patient identification and orders prior to procedures.
• Operates radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and privacy during examinations.
• Documents examinations and patient information in electronic systems.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to infection prevention protocols.
