Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed under the Texas Medical Board with radiation practice.
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• BLS required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic examinations and position them correctly.
• Produce radiographs (X-rays) to aid diagnosis.
• Maintain radiation safety and protect patients from unnecessary exposure.
• Follow HIPAA and protect patient and facility confidentiality.
• Operate C-Arm, portable X-ray equipment, and related devices.
