Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, AR is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to prepare, measure and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. You will perform and assist with nuclear medicine studies while upholding patient safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

This role requires precise dosing under radiologist supervision, adherence to ALARA principles, and cooperation with the radiology team to ensure accurate imaging, radiation

Qualifications

• High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
• Graduation from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine.
• Licensed in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
• Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies.
• Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies; maintains patient safety protocols.
• Follows ALARA and radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of materials.
• Calibrates equipment and prepares patients for examinations.
• Interacts professionally with patients and families; documents quality assurance information.
