Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Newark, NY seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and assist radiologists while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Qualifications

• 2 years college certificate or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology or permit with licensure within six months.
• ARRT certification within 1 year if licensed after 2007.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas.
• Maintain timely and proper service during unsupervised shifts.
• Document exams and related procedures using RIS/PACS and charts.
• Clean, restock, and prepare rooms daily.
• Attend hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
• Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
