Job summary

Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across ambulatory and acute settings, positioning patients and operating x-ray equipment to support accurate diagnosis. This role may include fluoroscopic procedures as needed.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiography program, CT radiography license in CT, ARRT certification, and BLS. Every 4th weekend rotation and holiday shifts apply within Hartford HealthCare's network.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120 days of graduation for new graduates).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various locations including ambulatory or acute settings.
• Position patients, operate diagnostic x-ray equipment and provide patient care during imaging exams.
• May perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
