Job summary

Startekk Inc is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The position requires at least one year of experience as a General Radiographer, current ARRT certification, and a valid New York State license. Strong attention to detail and patient care skills are essential for success in this role.

Shifts are overnight, and the position involves alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an acute care setting required.
  • BLS certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and radiation protection guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
  • Maintain proper documentation and imaging records
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a General Radiographer
  • Experience in an acute care setting required
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Military training acceptable)
Certifications & Licensure
  • Current certification and registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NYSDOH)
  • BLS certification preferred
Schedule & Additional Information
  • Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM (Overnight)
  • Alternating weekends required
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • In-person interview required
  • Two weeks of training (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including EPIC system training
