Diagnostic Imaging Excellence: Perform routine and specialized medical radiographic imaging procedures with technical precision and professional judgment.
Patient Preparation & Care: Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process clearly, answering questions, and delivering outstanding, compassionate customer service.
Radiation Safety Advocacy: Actively uphold the highest safety standards by taking the Image Gently and Image Wisely radiation dose pledges through the American College of Radiology (ACR) during the orientation period.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Participate in departmental quality assurance programs and support operations to maintain top-tier clinical and regulatory standards.
Collaborative Teamwork: Partner dynamically with the radiology team, ambulatory practice staff, and administration to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive care environment.
Ambulatory Support: Travel to and support our premier ambulatory practice locations in Hawthorne, Yonkers, and White Plains to provide seamless care coverage.

Education: Graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or an approved hospital-based program.
Licensure & Credentials: * Valid New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist Licensure or Limited Permit.
Active certification and registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography—ARRT-RT or RT(R).
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), or must be successfully completed within 90 days of hire.
Continuing Education: Commitment to maintaining professional standards by completing required continuing education (currently 24 CE credits over a two-year period, based on birth year).
Professional Longevity: A stable, reliable work history showing long-term commitment and professional growth.
IV Certification: NYS DOH Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification is highly preferred (or must be successfully obtained within the 6-month orientation period).
Shift Information: Evening Shift (Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM) with alternating weekends and holidays.
