Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and assisting radiologists. Requires ARRT(R) and BLS certifications, with at least 1 year of radiology experience; shifts may vary.

You will work under the modality manager, adhere to ALARA principles, and participate in patient-centered care while contributing to education and career progression through Wellstar’s CareerCare program.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT(R) certification for Radiography and BLS certification.
• Experience in radiology imaging procedures preferred (1 year).
• Strong patient communication and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of modality imaging and ALARA principles.
• Performs imaging exams and evaluates technical quality and patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports patient-family centered care.
• Adheres to patient safety and aseptic technique standards.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned by modality manager.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies.
