Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment (C-arm) and perform diagnostic imaging for vascular procedures.
• Assist with special procedures using fluoroscopy, maintaining sterile technique.
• Address patient needs promptly.
• Maintain supplies for department operation.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with imaging techniques.
• Perform routine scheduling in the Vascular Lab Information System.
• Assist physicians during procedures and practice radiation safety standards.
• Promote UVVC’s core values: Understanding, Nurturing, Ingenuity, Trust, Excellence, and Diversity.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI in accordance with HIPAA and other laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Radiological technology training from an AMA-accredited school.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiology preferred.
• Maintain all required continuing education for licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Peripheral Vascular Lab preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, accreditation guidelines, RIS, and PACS systems.
• Dependability with reliable attendance and punctuality.
