Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville is seeking Radiology Tech PRN to join our imaging team. You will perform diagnostic imaging studies while delivering excellent patient care and maintaining imaging quality.

Qualified candidates are ARRT registered with current BLS. A 24-month Radiologic Technology program completion is required; acute care experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT registered.
• One year experience in acute care preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams with high image quality and customer service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate patient care.
• Assess patients/ families' learning needs and incorporate teaching.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while upholding patient rights and dignity.
• Maintain knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams, providing the highest level of customer service and image quality.

What You'll Do in This Role

• You'll demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the patient populations served in your department.
• You'll demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
• You'll assess patients'/families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching.
• You'll deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
• You'll demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for the radiological department.

What Qualifications You'll Need

• Must be a graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
• ARRT registered.
• One year experience in acute care strongly preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
