Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Lexington, SC seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging and maintain accurate imaging records. You will operate radiologic equipment, ensure patient safety, and support clinical teams to deliver excellent patient experiences in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT Radiography credentials, SC certification, and active BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved radiologic technology program completed.
• Current ARRT Radiography (R) credentials.
• South Carolina state certification.
• Active BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Proficient in EMR, PACS and basic computer apps.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging with proper patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support optimal patient care and satisfaction.
• Perform vital signs, triage, and assist with basic patient care tasks as needed.
• Support front office functions and ensure inventory and supplies are maintained.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-approved educational program
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R)
• Certification in accordance with the state of South Carolina
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Proficiency in EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications
• Flexibility to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays
