Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an APRN- or radiology-focused imaging professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. You will operate imaging equipment, evaluate image quality, and ensure patient identification and safety during procedures.

The role requires ARRT(R) and BLS certification upon hire, and candidates with a minimum of 1 year radiology experience are preferred. Shift variety applies, with benefits and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R and BLS certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging procedures and adheres to department protocol.
• Operates modality imaging equipment and evaluates images for quality.
• Ensures proper patient identification and safety throughout procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety standards.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocol adherence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
