Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology and ARRT-registered.
• KY Radiation Operator certification (KBMIRT) is required or preferred.
• BLS certification; one year of general radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations according to protocols.
• Maintain radiation safety measures and patient identification.
• Prepare and assist radiologists with complex exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast media per policy and regulations.
• Educate patients pre- and post-exam on procedures.
• Maintain equipment, documentation and departmental credentials.
• Mentor Radiologic Technology students when assigned.
