Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a licensed radiologic technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and perform a wide range of radiologic procedures in accordance with approved protocols.
You will operate radiographic equipment safely, follow ALARA guidelines, and assist in training new staff while adhering to Virtua policies and the mission and values.
New to Virtua hires are eligible for sign on bonus of $500
Must work a minimum of 24 hours within each 6-week schedule block.
Shifts will vary, typically 4, 8 or 12 hours.
Times can also vary (8:30a-12:30p, 12:30p-9p, 8:30a-9p, 8:30a-5p, 5p-9p, 3p-9p) depending on the need.
A licensed practitioner responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic Purposes.
Performs a wide variety of radiologic procedures in accordance with established and approved protocols and standards.
Operates all radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner following appropriate ALARA guidelines.
Supports the Virtua Mission and Vision statement and upholds the Virtua Values and STAR behaviors.
Adheres to all Virtua policies and procedures.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
NJDEP licensure required.
CPR certification preferred.
$45.00 - $45.00 Hourly
