Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s The General Hospital Corporation seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and maintain patient safety. You will operate fluoroscopic, portable, and diagnostic equipment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exemplary patient care.

ARRT registration within 180 days of hire is required, and a state radiologic license must be held. Prior radiology experience is preferred; position is onsite at 52 Second Avenue with Day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered within 180 days of hire.
• Experience in radiology technology 0-1 year preferred.
• Board eligible through the American Board of Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Confirms correct patient and exam to be performed through patient confirmation and interview.
• Explains exam to patient, considering language needs; ensures compliance.
• Adjusts equipment to correct settings for all exams ensuring safe imaging.
• Performs required imaging according to department protocol and radiologist request.
• Ensures exams labeled correctly before transmission to PACS and arrives in PACS.
