Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Imaging/Radiology program.
• Active Florida Radiology Technician/Technologist License required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) preferred.
• Ability to work with team in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and assists Physician in fluoroscopic procedures.
• Prepares films for interpretation and maintains records, supplies, and equipment.
• Verifies Physician orders.
• Warms x-ray machine and checks for malfunctions; notifies supervisor as needed.
• Uses proper exposure factors and performs radiographic exams per protocol.
• Processes radiographs and ensures patient privacy is maintained.
• Establishes and follows a system for maintenance and scheduling of components.
• Troubleshoots system errors and answers end-user questions promptly.
• Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals.
