Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to perform portable DR X-ray exams in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, jails, and patients’ homes. You will drive a company vehicle, operate imaging equipment, and communicate with dispatch and physicians.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT certification and state licensure, are comfortable traveling, and can work late afternoons or evenings. Excellent patient interaction and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiologic technologist with ARRT certification and state licensure.
• Must maintain health requirements and operational standards.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Travel to nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and patients' homes to perform exams.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results.
• Process and file exam paperwork daily per protocol.
• Interact professionally with dispatch, staff, and clients.
• Maintain radiology and vehicle equipment.

Late Afternoon/Evening, Part-time or Full-time available

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment to various locations (nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and/or patients’ own homes) to perform various x-ray exams as ordered by the physician
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
• Obtain and scan required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
• Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
