Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Park City Hospital in Utah is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support large C‑arm procedures in the OR and standard radiologic imaging across the hospital.

You will collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and anesthesia teams to deliver high‑quality intraoperative imaging for complex surgeries in a fast‑paced setting.

ARRT certification, state license, and BLS are required; sign‑on bonus available for eligible candidates with a strong OR imaging background.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice, if applicable.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• May need to complete MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT and modality‑specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation before procedures.
• Perform imaging exams per protocols and review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Safely operate large C‑arm equipment in the OR to support complex surgical cases.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Complete imaging studies efficiently without compromising patient care or image quality.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols, positioning, and equipment usage.
• Provide patient education and address concerns to ensure comfort during procedures.
• Practice infection control, sterile technique, and OR protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment and information systems to ensure optimal image quality.
• Maintain documentation of patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control, and equipment reporting.
