Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Lake Otis clinic in Anchorage. You will perform high-quality radiologic exams in a safe, patient-centered environment and support physicians with imaging during procedures.

The role emphasizes ALARA compliance, precise patient positioning, and seamless image workflow from X-ray to PACS, while maintaining records and equipment in good working order.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as X-ray technologist.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Associates degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect staff from radiation hazards.
• Operate Large C-arm and Mini C-arm, adjust densities and maintain ALARA.
• Download and label images in PACS; ensure image quality for physician review.
• Assist providers during procedures and position patients for optimal views.
• Position patients for X-rays using portable equipment and manage image storage.
