Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Wasilla location. This PRN role involves performing high-quality radiologic exams in a safe, patient-centered environment and supporting OR and pain procedures with imaging expertise.

Requirements include ARRT registration, an Associate degree in radiologic technology, and at least one year of X-ray experience. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• One year experience as X-ray technologist.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
• Associates degree in radiological technology from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure safety per ALARA.
• Operate large and mini C-arm systems to achieve optimal image quality.
• Download and label images in PACS; ensure accurate patient records.
• Position patients for X-ray exams including portable X-ray procedures.
• Assist providers during OR and pain procedures with imaging support.
• Maintain radiographic equipment, supplies, and cleanliness.
