Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for nights (Fri-Sun, 7pm–7:30am) in the Imaging department. Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging, position patients precisely, and ensure radiation safety. Administer contrast media as required while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requires BLS, ARRT Radiography, and Texas radiologic technologist certification. Education options include a high school diploma with experience or an associate/technical degree;

Qualifications

• Radiologic technologist role requires licensure and credentials.
• Be able to follow radiation safety protocols and regulations.
• Experience with imaging and contrast administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging to support accurate diagnoses.
• Position patients accurately and select precise exposure factors for optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and document history in the EHR.
• Submit digital images to PACS promptly to support streamlined workflows.
