Job summary

Paycom seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to perform a wide range of imaging procedures across diverse patient ages within the department. The role supports department system development and monitors care quality in imaging services.

Required is a Texas MRT certification (ARRT), BLS, and graduate training as a radiologic technologist, with preferred 1 year hospital imaging experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technologist program.
• Texas MRT certification through ARRT.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with documentation systems.

Position SummaryPerforms wide range of Diagnostic Imaging Services procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services.Minimum Position Requirements:Work Experience:One (1) year experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a hospital setting preferred.License/Registration/Certification:Texas certified Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.Education and Training:Graduate of an accredited radiological technologist program.Skills:Possesses critical thinking and critical thinking skills.Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist.Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
