Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

As a Radiology Tech/Medical Assistant, you will:

  1. Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKG’s, and administer IM injections.
  2. Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts accordingly.
  3. Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately.
  4. Apply splints, dressings and bandages.
  5. Assist with check-in/check-out when needed including auditing charts.
  6. Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  7. Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

You Should Have:

  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required.
  • General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license in state of residency if required by the state.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
  • Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.
