Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an APRN radiology-imaging professional to perform imaging studies across modalities, while applying ALARA principles to minimize exposure. You will work under the modality manager and ensure accurate patient identification and high-quality images.

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists, maintaining aseptic technique, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT-R radiography certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
• Clearance of ARRT (R) for diagnostic imaging where applicable.
• MRI requires ARRT (R) or ARMRIT certification.
• Nuclear Medicine requires CNMT or ARRT (N) on hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment per department protocol and ALARA principles.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper patient identification.
• Provide patient-centered care and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and adhere to aseptic practices.
• Follow Wellstar policies and code of conduct.
