Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) per ARRRT requirements
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred or new graduate of accredited program
• Post-certification qualifications and ongoing education required

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, providers and staff
• Operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely
• Provide direct patient care within technologist scope including monitoring and safety
• Maintain equipment rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness
• Document in EMR/PACS accurately and timely
• Assist patients with comfort, safety, and privacy during procedures
• Cross-train into advanced modalities as needed
