Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Rad Tech to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring high image quality and patient safety. The role requires a Kansas Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification, with full-time daytime hours at the Pain Center.

Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, adhering to ALARA, maintaining EMR/PACS records, and supporting radiologists and physicians in imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required or actively in process.
• Valid Kansas Radiologic Technologist license (LRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required by employer.
• Completion of a board‑approved radiography program and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by licensed providers.
• Verify patient identity and physician orders before imaging.
• Explain procedures and position patients to obtain quality images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain EMR and PACS documentation accurately.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain and report equipment status or malfunctions.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and facility policies.
