Orthopedic Institute of PA in Slate Hill Surgery Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes, following physician orders and patient safety protocols.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited x-ray program with ARRT registration and prefers 1 year of healthcare facility experience. The role supports a patient-centered environment with a strong emphasis on ALARA and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited x-ray technician program.
• ARRT registration required.
• Prefer a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray exams using GE equipment and Phillips C-Arms.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Position patients and equipment; prepare exam rooms.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Monitor patient safety during examinations.
• Document diagnostic images and update patient records.
• Organize daily procedure schedules and manage radiographic supplies.
• Attend to pre-procedure advice and related administrative tasks.
• Perform clinical duties (vitals, bracing, casting, suture removal) as needed.
