Job summary

AdventHealth in WAUCHULA, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a PRN Day shift. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure ALARA principles, and maintain patient safety and comfort during exams.

You will work with EMR/PACS, document findings, and support team with equipment readiness. Requires ARRT RT(R) and at least 1 year experience or new graduate; must be proficient in English and radiology software; Florida background screening applies.

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) required
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred or new graduate
• Must read/write English; strong patient care skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and perform safety checks
• Document in EMR and PACS systems
• Assist patients ensuring comfort and privacy during procedures
