Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiography and ensure diagnostic quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The role includes on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Radiology section and daily room preparation to support smooth operations.

Required NYS licensure in Radiologic Technology or permit with a six‑month licensure window; ARRT certification if licensed after 2007. Preferred: Radiologic Technologist experience and BLS.

Qualifications

• 2 years college certificate or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• If licensed after 2007 must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; ensure timely and proper service and excellent patient care.
• Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basis.
• Ensure concise documentation of patient exams and related procedures using RIS/PACS and charts as necessary.
