Rochester Regional Health's Unity Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, obtaining high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role supports radiologists, works Mon-Fri 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm with on-call coverage, and requires state licensure or permit and ARRT certification within 1 year for those licensed after 2007. Candidates should have a 2-year college certificate or equivalent.

Formación

• 2 years college certificate or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology required or must obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• If licensed after 2007, must obtain ARRT certification within 1 year of hire.
• Official transcript or registrar's letter confirming program completion accepted on graduation.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas.
• Maintains accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts.
• Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary.
• Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms on a daily basis.
• Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
• Practices and is held accountable for excellent customer service behaviors.
• Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Educación

2 years college certificate or equivalent

NYS license in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification within 1 year
