Qualifications

  • Completion of approved American College of Radiology Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Medical Radiographer: AZ license is required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS) is required.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Uses radiation safety best practices for patients, staff, and self.
  • Performs imaging procedures with correct positioning and accurate markings.
  • Competent in diagnostic radiology areas (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma).
  • Operates hospital computer systems (RadNet, PACS, DR) and related workflows.
  • Assists Imaging Support in locating films/images, loading CDs, and printing reports.
  • Completes department forms per protocol and documents in RadNet/DR systems.
