Job summary

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine exams in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, adhering to positioning, image quality and radiation safety protocols.

The role involves working with advanced imaging equipment, including scanners and power injectors, and entering patient data into hospital databases; a focus on professional patient communication and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with ARRT registration or RDMS or CCI certificate within twelve months of hire.
• State licensure in Radiology technology in New Jersey required.
• Ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiologic exams in inpatient and/or outpatient settings according to established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
• Utilize scanners, power injectors, computers and software to enter patient information into hospital databases.
• Contribute to department excellence with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
