Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Radiologic Technologist II

Location: 2007 95th Street, Naperville, IL

Part-Time, 20 hours weekly

Hours: Alternating AM/PM shifts at the Plainfield and Woodridge locations. Will work very other Saturday and Sunday, plus on-call and holidays.

What you will do
  • Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance to established protocols.
  • Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.
  • Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
  • Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.
What you will need
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
  • License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
  • Certifications: Certificate of Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director from the Radiology School attended. Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross. At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.).
  • Experience: DEXA experience is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology(ACR)/JCAHO requirements in order to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations. Prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, preferred.
