Tidelands Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for a PRN, day shift role in Georgetown, SC. You will perform radiographic procedures with attention to anatomy, physiology, and ALARA principles, under minimal supervision.

The job requires interaction with radiologists and patients, ensuring safety and quality care across procedures. Responsibilities include patient education, history documentation, proper positioning, shielding, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Minimum of one year Radiologic Technology experience preferred.
• Licenses: ARRT Radiography required; SC Radiation Quality Standards required; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and prepare patients for procedures with clear communication.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Obtain and document accurate patient history for radiologist interpretation.
• Position patients and use shielding and immobilization devices as needed.
• Perform standard radiographic procedures per physician order, including fluoroscopy, C-arm in OR, digital and mobile imaging.
• Select appropriate exposure factors for examinations.
• Document exams in hospital information system.
