Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for per diem assignments. You will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, operate X-ray equipment, and assist in CT and mammography when needed, ensuring high-quality images and patient comfort.

The role requires licensure and fluoroscopy permits, two-modality certifications, BCLS, and at least one year of acute radiography.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• National certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program; JRCERT accreditation preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced mammography and X-ray equipment to ensure precise imaging and optimal diagnostic outcomes.
• Ensure CT and Mammo equipment are functioning properly and that images meet quality standards.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures and patient information.
• Be able to perform C-Arm fluoroscopic imaging and understand fluoroscopy techniques.
