Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to provide diagnostic imaging services across outpatient settings. You will work with radiologists, clinicians, and imaging staff across OR, cystoscopy, and orthopedic clinics, ensuring quality images and patient safety.

Responsibilities include performing complex radiology procedures, preparing contrast media, teaching staff and students, and ensuring accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Maintain continuing education requirements annually.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and advanced exams.
• Serves as preceptor or mentor to teammates and students.
• Ensures accurate patient demographics, imaging data, and documentation in RIS/PACS/HIS.
• Maintains equipment and works with team to troubleshoot issues.
