Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Radiology Technologist II to perform advanced diagnostic imaging, operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the healthcare team to produce high-quality images.

You will educate patients, maintain accurate records, and adhere to HIPAA and regulatory standards while supporting the lab's imaging needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required.
• BCLS completed within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic/x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Educate patients about pre-, during-, and post-procedure steps.
• Provide in-service training on imaging equipment and radiation safety.
• Perform invasive imaging procedures as assigned and ensure safety.
• Monitor vital signs during procedures and relay data to staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
• Ensure paperwork is signed, dated, and time-stamped by physicians.
• Inspect radiology equipment before use for proper function and safety.
• Serve as a team resource, guiding colleagues and delegating as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
