Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to join Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. The role supports radiologists and clinicians by delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include image quality review, patient positioning, and adherence to safety protocols while mentoring staff and students. Requires ARRT(R), state license, and BLS; 36-hour week with shift differentials for evenings/nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist with ARRT(R) certification and state license.
• BLS for healthcare providers is required.
• May need to complete MA Competency Checklist for clinic or InstaCare settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies order, and ensures proper patient identification.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits and assists/teaches others in protocols.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns, maintaining comfort.
• Follows infection control and uses sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
