Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• ARRT or CRT certification as required by the state.

Position Overview

Competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, accurate, and timely results. Gains patient, family, and healthcare provider cooperation through competent assessment, monitoring, and communication. Adheres to all regulations and policies to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also perform specific procedures and/or help orient other staff.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Certification & Licensure

• ARRT or CRT certification as required by the state
• BLS-HC upon hire
• Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days if required

Experience & Skills

• 2 years recent relevant experience
• Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures
• Effective communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer applications and healthcare information systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of patient privacy regulations
