Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist II, you will join our friendly Ultrasound team committed to the hospital's “care like family” mission. You will support each other with patients at the center of all we do.

In this role:

  • You will perform Ultrasound and other Radiologic Procedures across multiple modalities including Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Angiography.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families for radiology needs.
  • Perform well under pressure, understanding life-saving techniques.
  • Handle specified examinations and mentor student technologists.
  • Assess and provide appropriate care for patients of all ages.
  • Use your knowledge to interpret patient information and needs.
Qualifications:
  • Current Radiology license for your working state.
  • Registered with ARDMS or eligible.
  • Graduated from an AMA/CAHEA-approved Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Certified in Nuclear Medicine if modalities include NM.
  • Registered with ARRT in at least two modalities including RVT, M, NM, CT, MRI, or Angiography.
  • Minimum of three years’ ultrasound experience across multiple modalities.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
