Job summary

Dignity Health - Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz (CA) seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, collaborating with Radiologists to produce diagnostic images. You will ensure patient positioning, safety, and high-quality images while providing compassionate patient care.

This on-site role requires ARRT certification, CA licensure, and on-call availability; a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification completed and eligible for state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year as staff technologist with routine and emergency procedures.
• CA radiologic license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MR imaging.
• Contribute to accurate diagnoses with precise image capture.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Be available for on-call imaging as needed.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

We are offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Completion of radiologic technology training in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school
• One year or more as a staff technologist and performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures and able to take call or
• Able to perform basic IR procedures and take call
• Medical Radiographer: CA
• Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Radiologic science and 3 years of experience as a staff technologist
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology
