Job summary

HSHS is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform X-ray services at St John's Hospital in Springfield, IL, under radiologist direction. The role requires an accredited radiology program and state licensure as applicable, with ARRT eligibility to be achieved within 12 months.

The position includes weekends and evening shifts, full-time, with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and a compensation package aligned with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in radiology is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
• ARRT RT(R) certification/registration or registry-eligible; must obtain within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• 1 year experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patients.
• Follows physician instructions, positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records images.
