Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician with an interest in musculoskeletal infections to join our established team at Hershey, PA.

The role offers opportunities for primary consultations, ambulatory follow-up, and collaboration with Bone & Joint Center surgeons. The department values research, academic engagement, and a competitive compensation package with sign-on and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of accredited ACGME training program and Infectious Disease Fellowship.
• BC/BE Infectious Disease physician.
• Focus on bone and joint/musculoskeletal infections.
• Ability to acquire a license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient bone and joint consultations with ambulatory follow-up and new consultations.
• Outpatients evaluated collaboratively with the surgeons at the Bone & Joint Center.
• Sporadic back-up coverage of other Infectious Disease services.
• Opportunities to engage in research and academic activities.
